Archiving refers to the crucial process of safeguarding, categorizing, and preserving precious items. Specifically, when it comes to printed photos, video moments, and home movies, it is paramount to ensure the protection of one’s cherished family legacy. In essence, archiving involves the systematic management and storage of these irreplaceable items, so that they can be accessed and enjoyed for generations to come.

Before scanning, it’s important to handle the photos with care and ensure they are free of dust and debris. Using a high-quality scanner with a resolution of at least 300 dpi will capture the details of the image accurately.

Organizing and naming the digital files properly will make them easier to locate and share. 

NEGATIVE and TRANSPARENCY SCANNING

  • Premium scans are scanned with our Imacon FlexTight 949 drum scanner at 16 bit resolution
  • Standard scans are done on our Epson V800 reflective scanner at 8 bit resolution
  • All reflective media scanned with top quality Epson V800 reflective scanner
  • Photo Scans up to A4, get a 10% discount after the first 20 images, 15% after 100 images and 20% off at 200 images or more.
  • All scans are supplied at 300 ppi with Adobe RGB (1998) embedded
  • Scans include minor colour & density adjustments and will be available for upload, or your supplied USB on receipt of payment.

PhotoTex is the original peel and stick, polyester fabric, adhesive material that can be installed on virtually any flat surface (indoor and out) and then removed and reused many times over leaving no adhesive residue.

Used for numerous applications PhotoTex does not weaken or strengthen over time, can withstand all weather conditions, and it will not shrink or curl like other material.

We can professionally scan and convert just about anything into an easily stored and shared format! We can scan photo albums and scrapbook pages. We digitize entire album pages or crop into individual elements. Furthermore, we’ll even remove photos from albums for you! Just let us know what you’re looking for.
